My name is Camille Dutoit and I’m originally from the North of France, now based in Vienna, AT.

With a multidisciplinary path shaped by several years as an Art Director in Paris, Dubai and Lyon, I later turned toward a more tactile and meaningful approach to design.

I graduated with honours from the MAS in Design for Luxury & Craftsmanship at ECAL in Switzerland, where I was also awarded the De Bethune Prize for my work.

My creative process is driven by the reinterpretation of everyday objects, guided by curiosity and a deep fascination with craftsmanship, both as a method and a language.

Rooted in brutalism, my visual vocabulary embraces rawness and material honesty. I am particularly drawn to metal for its versatility and for the traces of craftsmanship it carries, where the process remains visible in the final form.

Alongside metal, I work with ceramic, exploring dialogues between fragility and strength by combining it with steel and aluminium to create objects that quietly transform the everyday.

At the heart of my work is a desire to create with intention, resulting in objects and narratives that are simple and grounded, raw and sensitive.
